Graduate School Encouragement
Scripture Reference:
For we are GOD’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which GOD prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
This blog post is dedicated to the graduate school candidate. Whether you are working on your masters thesis, a major project or your dissertation there will be points in the dissertation process that will cause you to feel discouraged. It could be from a variety of things, family issues, personal issues, situational issues, environmental issues, career issues, relationship issues, ambition issues, health issues, responsibility issues, friend issues or lack of friend issues. Whatever your situation remember that discouragement is a trick of the enemy to keep you focused on those issues and to let go of the goals you were set out to achieve. GOD knew what you would do, before you were even created, and those are good works, that he will get the GLORY and PRAISE for. Your issues and challenges you face will bring discouragement but you are not to stay down, just take every day a day at a time, and put your trust in him. When you become discouraged repeat Ephesians 2:10 daily to know and realize that YOU ARE GOD’S HANDIWORK, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS TO DO GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD PREPARED IN ADVANCE FOR YOU TO DO!
Prayer:
Thank you for peace, grace and mercy!! Father I speak confidently knowing that I am your handiwork, and you created me in Christ Jesus to do good works, which you prepared in advance for me to do!! I believe this and receive it, and when I become discouraged, LORD I pray that the Holy Spirit helps me to draw from your word and strengthen me with courage and encouragement from you! In Jesus mighty magnificent name, I pray AMEN!
Giving you something to think about
